Monastery

Our God is always a God of surprises. When I entered the monastery my deepest regret was that I would be locked up, hidden and forgotten. I know saints are supposed to be into that but I wasn't. I did believe though that it was what God wanted me to do – so I did it. (Okay, there was a little big of kicking and arguing about it but I figured it was worth a try if God was really serious about it. I was sure He wasn't.)

Just for the record – in case you want to know... God Is Aways Serious...it may sound like the stupidest, dumbest, far out thing to do... but if God wants you to do something... He is not joking.. He is serious. Once safely enclosed, habited and vowed.. God had more surprises. The hidden life leaked out into the Internet, book publishing and managing a 24 hour Catholic radio station. With God you just never, never know—don't even try to second guess Him.
